Engineering Graphics & Design Gtu Syll

This document outlines an engineering graphics and design course for the first year of an engineering program. The course introduces fundamental concepts of technical drawing, including drawing instruments, scales, engineering curves, projections of points, lines, planes and solids. Students will learn both manual and computer-aided drawing techniques. They will complete drawings and sketches in a workbook and on drawing sheets covering topics like loci of points, projections, sections, developments and isometric views. The course aims to develop students' spatial visualization skills and graphical communication abilities for engineering design.
