Guidelines For District Collectors

Notification for restructuring of the districts - State Level Scrutiny Committee
constituted to analyze all the Suggestions / Objections - Instructions - Reg.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide reference 1st cited. have constituted a
State Level Scrutiny Committee for analyzing all the Suggestions/ Objections
received from Public / Peoples Representatives. Accordingly, the Committee has
given Schedule for scrutiny and analyzing of the objections/suggestions received from
the public/ people’s representatives vide reference 2nd cited.

2. In this regard the Presentations / Documentation on Restructuring of the


Districts received from District Collectors so far, the following guidelines are issued
regarding preparation of Presentations including Maps for proper analyzing of the
Objections / Suggestions received.
a. The District Collectors are requested to follow the guidelines issued vide
reference 3rd cited while submitting the report on Objections / Suggestions
with reference to Gazette Notification and to indicate the Objections
raised and the Suggestions made Separately for analysis.
b. The Maps of the Proposed District shall contain constituency wise demarcation
along with clear mandal boundaries indicating one colour for each of the
Constituency and mandal as per Notification for better clarity and
understanding.
c. And similarly one map shall be drawn Division wise, mandal wise indicating one
colour for each of Revenue Division and mandal as per notification.
d. With regard to objections / suggestions relating to change of mandal from
one Division to another Division / One District to another district, and
draw the maps with constituency wise along with clear mandal boundaries
indicating one colour for each of the constituency and mandal, demarcation is
essential indicating its distance from the Proposed District Head Quarters in
both the cases separately for comparative analysis.
e. The Presentations shall contain factual field conditions with reference to
Objections / Suggestions so as to have clarity and for better analysis.
