CONCEPT PAPER FOR STUCK GARBAGES IN OUR BARANGAY

In our community, there is only one of the goal we need to pursue in order to have our
community clean as always and preventing pollution to keep the cleanliness in our barangay.
That’s why there are programs being created for the health of people and the sakeness in our
community. Most of the people participated in those activities because it’s highly needed to
cooperate to keep the community health and safe.
STATEMENT OF NEED: In order to keep and maintain the cleanliness in our community, our
Brgy. Captain discussed how we should minimize the stuck garbages in our place because in our place
there are lot of garbages are stucked house by house in every people live in our barangay. So they
decided to buy a dump truck to the Government to get the stucked garbages and bring it where it will
be placed. But our Brgy. Captain have problem that our barangay cannot afford to buy a dump truck,
so they conduct a meeting to finalize what will be the plan to solve that problem. And after the
discussion they decided and concluded that every family will have atleast 20 pesos (0.4 USD) every
month so we can atleast help the barangay to buy dump truck to the Government. So the barangay
debt to the Government a dump truck and we have monthly fee to be needed.

THE CONCEPT: The proposal of the program will be useful because we all know that health is
wealth, because one of the problems that may use risk for our health is that our surroundings is not
clean causing of dump garbages. Keeping our community clean will prevent to have a pollution in our
community, avoid getting sick and symptoms because of the environmental pollutions and keep our
family safe.

FINANCIAL CONCEPT: So in order to solve that problem, there’s a mandatory conducted from
our barangay that we should pay 20 pesos(0.4 USD) in every family to pay the debt in the dump truck.

MURALS AND STUDENTS INVOLVEMENT: All the people in our community including
STUDENTS will must participated the program, So I as a student, will be participating program about
segregating garbages and how to dispose them properly. So we created two types of trash which is
Biodegradable and Non-Biodegradable so we can atleast help the community and prevent and lessen
pollution.

GRANT POSSIBILITY: If the City support this concept by providing support and needs we can
be able to improve our community safe and clean like this nowadays that we facing against COVID-
19, so it will be lessen the chance to have that virus in our Barangay. We need to keep being health
and safe because nowadays we must avoid getting sick and have symptoms so one of the ways to
prevent that is must have a clean environment and surroundings.

COST ESTIMATES: Based on the conducted meeting in our Barangay, the cost estimates only 20
pesos per month because it is only for the dump truck and the other activities are eligible to do
without needing to buy something. So every family in our barangay have budget and can afford of
what meeting decided.

CURRENT USAGE: With this program, there is possible chance to have a better environment and
clean surroundings with the help of the Barangay and the cooperation of all people living. If all people
cooperates in the activities and conducted mandatory for the dump truck in debt of our Barangay.

SUMMARY: We know this concept help us a lot for the health and to improve and maintain the
cleanliness in our environment, because environment is part of us, so we need to take care of it, we
need to help each other to keep this safe and prevent from pollution, So the problem are being solved
by the use of the meetings and activities conducted in our Barangay. And our Barangay will be
enhance again and can be look for a better future of all people living in our community.
