Some People say that university students should concentrate on their own field of study, and that
all the classes they take should be closely related to that subject. Others believe that university
students should get a general education, taking classes in many fields before concentrating on a
single field.
Discuss both points of view, using concrete examples which view do you support? Give reasons
for your choice.

No one can deny that both have positive and negative aspect of learning method on
campus. If I were forced to choose, I would definitely choose to concentrate on their own field of
study. It is my firm belief that all the classes they focus on their own field of study for number of
reasons, and I will develop these idea in the subsequence paragraphs.
To begin with, this method will make them more professional in their own field. They will know
more about their field. They were also can do it repeatedly lesson of their own field to replace
time of focus in many fields. I have to admit that my opinion on this matter has been profoundly
influenced by my own personal experience. You see, I used to take care of my minimarket with
my friend. I can only get permission do the recapitulation of goods in the store. Even though it
was hard to do that on the first trial, with repeatedly tasks and learning, now I can do it more
efficiently to do recapitulation rather than my mother, and I enjoyed it. Different with my store, I
really didn’t like my college life. In there, we do so much things that I think it is not only about
our professional area. As a result, I see lot of my friends getting tired because of that, some of
them are move to another college. For this reason, with my experience in minimarket, all the
student can be more expert rather than they do focus on many fields.
Secondly, this method will make the university be more relevant from the current development.
The university can only focused to buy stuff that really important for their professional study.
Drawing from my own experience, my college didn’t have many goods that we need to study.
The funny thing is, my college does have many support stuff, like 11 basketball field, 3 futsal
field, 2 badminton fields, and the others which are not our priority to have that for our study.
Moreover, many of my friends want to go to college just for playing, not study. It’s certainly
clear to see why some of my friends want to quit. They think that they can get that even when
they not college.
In light of the above mentioned reasons, I strongly believe that with concentrate only on their
own field of study, makes student more expert rather than taking classes in many fields.
