Rated Normal Current 400A
Rated Thermal Current 400 A
Category of Duty AC4
Duty Rating Intermittent.
Control Voltage 110Vor 220V (AC or Dc)
Principle
1. MVC-400 (Solenoid
Type): This is a conventional type of vacuum contactor which is switched
ON by energising the solenoid coil and held
by keeping the same coil energised by connecting the
Economy resistors in series to avoid the over heating of the coil. The vacuum contactor is switched
OFF by disconnecting the coil
supply.
Construction
As shown in photograph, the vacuum contactor consists of three Epoxy Cast Vacuum Contactor
Tubes (ECVCT). Each individual ECVCT forms a switching pole. These ECVCTS are mounted on
rigid Insulating Bracket to further improve its insulating
simple and rugged mechanism improve its insulting properties.
This bracket is attached to a very
