Medianav Toolbox - Unleashed

Before the update check your current so�ware version !

Copy the "lgu" file to USB (fat32), wait for it to start and click "Update" !

How to collect data on the USB flash drive !
A�er update insert a formated USB key MIN 4GB Fat32 , click on "Nav" then "Agree" ! Follow the steps 1 to 4 !

Click on "Update" !
Follow the steps 5 to 7 !
Click on "Yes" and wait for collect data !

A�er that click on "OK" , you are done ! �

Extract to folder : Medianavtoolbox !

First insert USB with update data to your computer and then run "medianavtoolbox.exe" !!!

Otherwise, you get a warning window !!


In Se�ngs/Strict NNG folder structure/Enabled , must be "UNCHECKED" !! Like on photo !

Go to : Se�ngs/Maps/Content directory/Change path , and select the "DIR" where you have maps, poi , speedcam etc !

Which files go into the some dir for program !You can add files from Here or Tom Tom , It works both !!
In folder :
building (3dl , 3dc)
map (�l , fpa, fda , �w , fsp) , (op�onal hnr)
phoneme (ph)
poi (poi)
speedcam (spc)

�r file not need , It's for trucks ;)


To get the program to work correctly , must install files into subfolders !

Content filter :
If you do not have anything selected , Medianavtoolbox adds the files , �l , fda , fpa , �v !
If you have selected Maps+ , will be added �w , �r , fsp files ! Op�onal , raster file!
If you have selected POI , will be added poi files !
If you have selected 3D , will be added 3dc and 3dl files !
If you have selected Speedcam , will be added spc files !
If you have selected Phoneme , will be added ph , phr files !

What the program will add depends on what files you have on your folder on PC !
First, delete what you do not need and then add what you want !

Present files that will be deleted in update !

Files not present that will be added to the update !

Files present and preserved !


When you are finished, close the program and take the USB !
Connect the updated USB key to the Medianav and wait !
This proces can take a long �me, depending on the maps you have add or remove !

If you want to return to the original Medianav , first make a backup of :
Storage Card4\NNG and Storage Card2\NNG\SAVE and then do a "SYNC" !!

If I have, for example , version 8.0.5 with "sync" and I would like to upgrade to 9.1.3 , then updates with
original upgrade file which are written below then install the "sync" again for Version 9.1.3 !
