INTRODUCTION

Description of the Business

Bebe Beautifying was the name given to the business because it is

inspired by the Korean cosmetics and the pabebe (which means a

baby/child behavior) girls in the Philippines. Nowadays teenagers as

well as the owners were very fund of the Korean Dramas and Girl

Korean Pop Group and as they have seen the baby fresh looks they

wanted to look like them. In that case the owners decided to produce

make-up products that surely will give you a baby natural look that your

idols look like. Similarly lip and cheek tint, natural eye shadow and more.

It also represent a long lasting bond not just within the owners but the

relationship of the business to its customers as well since they can

relate to each other. The different cultures of Korean and Filipinos will be

united to create a beautifying and relating products that the owners

wanted to share that certainly will satisfies your desires.

The owners of the company are the students who are currently taking

up Humanities and Social Sciences in their 12th Grade at San Rafael

National High School who have decided to form a general partnership


type of business organization where all partners share the ups and

downs, profits and losses, hardships and achievements of the business.

Bebe Beautifying is focused on providing satisfaction in terms of

service and product on their target market. It will cater consumers such

as students, other employees and other individuals who wish to try the

affordable and delightful product and services. These products will be

complementary for enjoyment, laughter, get together, make-up hunting

and bonding.

The company aims to be flexible and doable in any circumstances

that will be a factor to the frequent change of demand and

innovativeness the customers would prefer. These enable the company

to have an edge among their competitors.

Location of the Business

The business will be located at San Jose St., Goa, Camarines Sur. A

perfect spot for cosmetic business since it is the center of all markets in

Partido area that provides high quality goods and services and also the

schools are nearby that most of the customers are students.

Since the San Jose St. is the center of the market place and also

neighboring of schools and restaurants then that will surely dominated


by the students and other customers that the owners target customers.

In addition, Goa has a bigger population that’s why the proponents

decided to choose that place. This is the way to make the business

successful.

Funding Requirements and Source of Funds

In order to launch this unique product BB (Bebe Beautfying)

Company requires an initial outlay. Sales at BB Company retail stores are

planned to grow quickly from the first year of it until year 3. During this time

frame our wholesome revenues are expected to grow enormously. Initial

growth will be financed by a combination of equity investment and debt

financing our growth plans are challenging but legit.

and entertain their entrepreneurial skills.

The vision is to represent the most refined cosmetic product around the

region. Bebe Beautifying Company must continue to have a proportion of

both elegance and innovation.

MISSION

To establish a BEBE Beautifying Company that will provide the clients with

an innovative, significant and unique brand that will represent quality in

cosmetic care.

GOALS

SHORT-TERM GOALS

Bebe Beautifying is aiming to achieve the following short-term goals

within one year of operations:


1. To achieve costumer satisfaction of 90-95% by conducting costumer

surveys.

2. To maintain adequate inventory level to meet the demands of the

costumers.

LONG-TERM GOALS

Bebe Beautifying is aiming to achieve the following short-term goals

within one to four years of operations:

1. To retain an 80-85% of staff to avoid and reduce employee turnover.

2. To be the market leader for retail cosmetics in Camarines Sur and

surrounding area.

OBJECTIVES

1. Launch Bebe Beautifying Company on the third quarter of the year

2018.

2. Create and maintain a high quality manufacturing and research.

3. Achieve an above median maintained rate by the end of Year 2022.

BUSINESS AND PRODUCT POSITION

Cosmetics is one of most widely used product. People purchase

different beauty products for different purposes but one main reason is to

add color to the face or improve our appearance. Bebe Beautifying

produces high quality beauty products that beautify and promote

attractiveness. The customers using this product would appear younger,

and there’s an instant boost in person’s mood about confidence, and the

feeling of belongingness.

WEALTH IMPROVEMENT APPROACHES


Here are some of Improvement Approaches that will be used to

improve the business.

1. Six Sigma – Every system or process in your business yields an

end-result that either falls within a range of acceptability, or does

not. Six Sigma measures how often a process meets the required

specifications or expectations. It seeks to improve the quality of

process by identifying and minimizing errors, excessive variation,

waste and network.

2. Theory of Constraints- every process within the business has a

bottleneck or weak link- constraint- that diminishes the output of

the process. By focusing improvement efforts on the weakest area

of a process, you will achieve the greatest impact on sales,

customer satisfaction, and profit.

3. Lean Thinking – in Lean Thinking, a step in a process is said to be

“value-added” if it ultimately benefits the customer, and they would

be willing to pay for it. Things that do not add value to the

customer such as idle time, inspection, mistakes and rework,

overproduction and storage of inventory, and unnecessary

handling or movement, are considered waste. They add needless

cost to a product or service.


PARTIES SUPPORTING THE BUSINESS

The parties that have a direct relationship with the business and

strongly support the business are as follows:

1. Consumers

The targeted user is between the ages of 14 to 25 years old. They

are girls from the rural and have an active lifestyle. They are concerned

about physical and environmental issues. Mind, physical, and body

wellness are significant to them. They are fond of stanning the phenomenal

stars in both K-pop and P-pop industry. The effects of aging and the

maintenance of a youthful appearance are a part of their life. Moreover,

Salon Owners around the area are also included in the targeted users.

2. Creditors

In order to launch the unique product line, Bebe Beautifying Company

(BB Company) will be finance by the combination of equity investment and

debt financing.
3. Suppliers

Cosmetic products will be developed and produced by our contract

facilities at Makati City. Within this line, we will offer a wide array of

products including lip and cheek tints, eye shadows, blush-ons, matte

lipsticks, and others. Our pricing strategy is to position our products with a

shelf price that is in the mid to lower quadrant of high-quality products and

brands.

4. Employees and staff

Bebe Beautifying Company (BB Company) is 100% owned by Ms.

Lenie Francia and Ms. Jhonna Peña, the founders. The board will

consist of five members: Ms. Nouella Cledoro, Ms. Ana Mae Romero, Ms.

Rea Jane Panganiban, Ms. Hannah Mabana, and Ms. Marjorie Bantog.

From Year 1 to Year 4, we will grow in head count from ten to twenty. The

majority of this growth will come in store personnel, the rest will be support

staff. We believe the plan shows a controlled and conservative ramp up of

personnel.
