Entity 303
Entity 303 (nicknamed “303”)
is a creepypasta commonly
said to be “the New Hero-
brine”. According to the pas-
ta, a former Mojang employ-
ee was fired by Notch (the
creator of Minecraft). Now
he wants revenge on Mojang
and Minecraft players alike.
Entity 303 is said to be not
just the former employee
but a whole team of hackers going by usernames like
“303mojang.com303,” and “entity.303”. If you have any
files in your computer that are named anything with
“303”, then it could be 303’s hackers. 303 can also hack
in to player’s worlds and corrupt them. 1/40 players
are affected by 303 and his team. Herobrine actually
came to warn us about 303 by showing what he would
do. 303 plans to ruin Minecraft by the end of 2014 or
2015. Signs have been seen in worlds hacked by 303
saying “hjälp” (“help” in Swedish). That means Hero-
brine needs our help (or hjälp) to defeat 303. If he is
not defeated soon Minecraft will be in his control.
(Note: the first 303 sighting happened on December
10, 2013. The events of that encounter are not known)
Herobrine
Herobrine (He-ro-
brine) is the subject
of a community made
“creepy-pasta” (Creepy
story). He is widely
known to Minecraft
fans. Other than in fan-
made Mod content,
Herobrine is not pres-
ent in any official release of Minecraft.
History
HerobrineBody
Herobrine is the subject of a community-made
“creepy-pasta.” It started with a post on the 4chan
posting website which claimed Herobrine to be
real. Later, the YouTuber “Copeland” made a stream
where Herobrine made an appearance (as a retex-
tured Painting). Anything beyond these two sourc-
es is generally considered non-canon.
He is a human entity, with a skin similar to that of
Steve’s, but with white eyes, and often described as a
dead miner. Herobrine is not a character, but rath-
er superstition. Notch said he was never implement-
ed, saying Herobrine was removed in the Beta 1.6.6
through 1.9 final release, and a subtle to stop the skins
that have been made of him, but people still claim to
see him to this day.
Trivia
As an homage to this creepy-pasta, Mojang AB in-
cludes “Removed Herobrine” in the list of changes
for each Minecraft update. In reality, this note does
not pertain to any actual changes in the update.
Those responsible for the Herobrine hoax first
claimed (falsely) to have seen Herobrine during Mi-
necraft’s Alpha stages.
In a Top 10 list by WatchMojo.com, Herobrine was
placed at #7 of the Top 10 Video Game Urban Leg-
ends.
Herobrine is a skin available online which some
players use to grief and scare other players.
Herobrine is supposedly Notch’s dead brother.
However, Notch has specifically said that he does
not have a dead brother
Green steve
I was playing Minecraft on the 1.8 update when I found a desert
temple, like most players I broke the blue block and jumped down
the hole. I hit the block that sets off the TNT but, surprisingly, it
did not go off. A Steve like mob came down from the hole where
the blue block was and it looked like Steve, only green. It hit me
and I appeared in a room made of bedrock filled with creepers I
was really freaked out so I exited. I then wen back then next day. I
was not in the creeper cave but in a forest. It was like I had made
anew world. I saw words come up that said "[green steve] i am
coming" I felt kinda wired but i didn't no why. Then I found A
house. It had bin my house in the world before only in a forest not
a desert. I went in. There was nothing. Then the green mob came
in. Then words came up that said "[green steve] hello brother".
Then I just blew up I had no idea what had happend.I deleted the
world it after that. I sent an email to one of the developers who had
helped make minecraft and he said "one of the developers want-
ed to added Green Steve to minecraft, but we said no and we had
caught him adding it in" If this story is true it could explain Hero-
brine and many other things.
The story of the green steve goes like this I was playing minecraft when i found a desert temple and i went
inside. I broke the blue block and jumped down to get the stuff. I hit the plate but it did not blow up. in-
stead a weird mob came up to me. Its skin was green other then that it looked like Steve. It tried to kill me.
I briefly battled it until it shot a dark block at me and I was sent to a room of bedrock filled with creepers.
I was pretty freaked out so i turned off the game the next day i emailed a video game developer who had
helped make the game and he said that a developer wanted to add it to the game but everyone else said no
and he was fired for adding it in the game! If this is true then this could explain Herobrine, null, and many
other things.

Chapter 1: Steve and Jack discover Herobrine
It was early 2012, and Minecraft was starting to be-
come popular.

These players were always online and were always
playing with each other, and promised that they
would never depart and break their friendship. They
made that vow, but it was soon to be broken.
Jack and Steve were looking online about building when they saw a video about a mysterious entity known
as Herobrine.
Jack and Steve thought this was very exciting and thought of hunting Herobrine and capturing him to prove
to everyone that he exists and they would get a lot of fame for finding him.
But when they told the others they got really scared and went back to building, so Jack and Steve went off to
hunt Herobrine.
Herobrine knew very well that these players were hunting him. He wasn't very powerful back then and
didn't know then how to fight of players, so he had to try something else.
A day before Jack and Steve went hunting for him, Herobrine created a disease called Red Rasher. Herobrine
didn't want to be mean and hurt players, but he couldn't let Steve and Jack kill him.
When Jack and Steve started the search for him, Herobrine sent the disease to infect them. The disease was
invisible, so the players couldn't see it, and soon enough, the disease had infected Steve.
He was fine afterwards for a short while, but soon he noticed his hands on his skin were slowly turning red.
Then on his head, then on his legs.
Players teased him for having a messy skin and called him names such as:
Red Player
Tomato Man
Nooby
Messy Man
Infected Steve
But if you've read the title, you'll probably guess what name he was called the most: 'The Red Steve'.
When Steve was on a multiplayer server, he was watching the players with a birds eye-view. He could see the
players faces and the land around them but that was all.
Suddenly he noticed that the face of Steve had turned red out of no-where. Just red, completely red. Sud-
denly, all the other players started to leave game one by one.
The admin was confused and scared so he went onto the server himself to deal with what was going on.
The sky was growing darker as he entered, and all the admin could see of the players were their items scat-
tered all over the place.
He turned around, and a red player stuck out his arm towards the admin and the admins game crashed. But
just before the admins game crashed, he noticed that the player that attacked him had no name-tag.
Nothing good happened to them until they were visited in Minecraft by Herobrine.
Herobrine told them that he was the one who infected Steve and apologized, explaining that he infected
him to stop them hunting him.
The Red Steve had attacked a lot of servers and killed many players, and Steve's friends caught and cured
him.
But when the disease was kicked out of Steve, it wasn't long until it went into Jack!
I have.
The most common places to see him are in ocean monuments or in the
ocean at random.
Rather, protectors.
Green Steve protects life, that’s why you see him in desert temples, he wants to make the deserts back into
lush forests again.
The Red Steve embodies fire and lava. You are more likely to see him in caves or near lava.
Lastly, Blue Steve embodies water, which is why he is seen near water.
I had started a new survival world, I know that’s how all these things start, but it’s how it happened, so I’m not
counting it if you aren’t.
You aren’t?
Great.
I started the world, I had used world modifiers to make it an all-ocean world to try and survive.
Mostly because islands aren’t supposed to be here and the fact it was made of lapis scared me too.
I walked up to it.
I saw a figure.
Blue Steve.
Great.
I wasn’t afraid.
Blue Steve: Correct. Green Steve protects life, Red Steve protects fire, and I protect water.
Me: So... Where are you going, plus, how are you here? This is a new world...
Blue Steve: Minecraft worlds are already created. The custom seeds act as portals to bring you to worlds. Ba-
sically, my barrier that’s supposed to be around my world has been glitching recently which is why I’ve been
pulled out of worlds and people have only recently started to see me... Now the hole is so big that a player,
you, can now enter.
Me: Wow. But, so how have Green Steve and Red Steve been seen so much?
Blue Steve: Because their barriers broke a long time ago, Notch is using power from ours to block the Forbid-
den Server.
Blue Steve: Yes. The one with Herobrine, Null, and 303 in it. The evil beings inhabit it. It’s where the mobs
exist too, there are tiny rips in the barriers that break free during night that let them come to your worlds, but
the Pastas can’t get through them.
Blue Steve: The sightings on “YouTube” depicting us as evil are lies. They don’t know what we really are.
“Y-yes,” I said.
Blue Steve: Thank you, remember though, if I am scaring a person, it’s going to be because I’m having fun, or
they’re severely harming our virtual nature. We have millions of worlds but they will run out eventually, we
need to preserve the ones we have now before they are all destroyed... On that note, I have to leave. Goodbye,
Green, remember to tell my story!
He left.
