Before we proceed on our discussion
let’s have a game first. The title of our
game is pinoy henyo. Have you ever
played pinoy henyo?

Very good! So class what do you think Ma’am, is a device used to open tin cans (metal
is the use of can opener? cans)
Very good! Next picture. What do you
call this tool?

Very good! What is the use of chopping Ma’am, chopping board is durable on which to
board? place material for cutting.

So what is the common used of knife? Ma’am it is a tool that used to cut
through thick vegetation.

APPLICATION
Activity: The teacher will instruct
the students to form 3 groups and
pick pieces of paper with names of kitchen
utensils. Then, afterwards the
teacher will ask the students to prepare
for demonstrating the uses of
kitchen utensils. Each group will be
given three minutes to prepare for the
demonstration. The teacher will demonstrate
first the uses of kitchen utensils then
afterwards a representative of
each group will be demonstrating in front
of the class.

1. Paste a picture of your kitchen on a bond paper and identify the utensils that can be found
in your kitchen.
