YLE Exam Changes 2018

Some key changes include replacing drawing tasks with writing tasks in the Listening sections. Across Reading and Writing parts, question numbers have been reduced. A new writing task was added to replace existing tasks. In Speaking, examiners will now ask candidates their name and provide more context to storytelling tasks. Overall, the updates are aimed at better targeting different proficiency levels while providing more appropriate support to young exam takers.
