Central Dalmatia is a beautiful region to visit in Croatia, with the cities of Zadar and Šibenik and national parks like Plitvice Lakes, Krka Waterfalls, and Kornati Islands. The island of Vis in Southern Dalmatia is ideal for resting and has diving centers, while the island of Hvar has good restaurants and opportunities for partying or relaxing. Further south, the island of Korčula near Dubrovnik, best known as the setting of Games of Thrones, provides a peaceful getaway and opportunities for day trips to Montenegro.

biking tours, one day trip to Venice (takes 1-2 hrs from Rovinj by boat), Pula (amphitheater),
National Park Brijuni (islands, safari, residence of politicians and Tito), Novigrad
Food: Istrian pasta, truffles, prosciutto, cheese, olive oil, wine tasting, fish and sea food from
the Adriatic sea (my favourite dish is squid), Croatian only restaurant with a Michelin Star
