Affidavit of Citizenship

Cirilo R. Ragasa Jr. swears in an affidavit that he was born in the Philippines to Filipino parents and acquired dual citizenship in 2013. He states that his two daughters, born in Hawaii in 2002 and 2003 while he had Filipino citizenship, are also Filipino citizens by birth according to the principle of jus sanguinis. AFFIDAVIT OF CITIZENSHIP

I, CIRILO R. RAGASA JR., of legal age, married, Filipino (American) citizen and
residing at Blk 7 Lot 2 Ilang Ilang St. Ph-2, Greenland Subd. Cainta, Rizal, after
having been dully sworn to in accordance with the law, depose and say:

That I was born on September 5, 1962 in San Juan Ilocos Sur to the spouses,
Agustina R, Rabaja and Cirilo Ragasa, who are both Filipino citizens;

That I am the biological father of LARIZA JOLENE DELACRUZ RAGASA,


American citizen, born on July 30, 2003 in Hawaii, USA and LAUREN NASTASSJA
DELA CRUZ RAGASA; American citizen, born on January 14, 2002 in Hawaii, USA;

That my Daughter`s despite being born in the United State is likewise a Filipino
citizen because at the time that she was born, I was considered a Filipino citizen
since, I was already granted Philippines citizenship under RA 9225, hence by birth my
daughter`s is Filipino citizen, following the doctrinal principle of jus sanguinis;

That I reacquired my dual citizenship as Filipino citizenship on July 4 ,2013;

And I am executing this sworn affidavit to attest the foregoing facts in support
of my son`s application for recognition as Filipino citizen and for other lawful purpose
