Mathieu Gents Athletics Canada Ottawa, ON Attention: Mathieu Gents Dear Mathieu, Funding for underprivileged volleyball athletes Im Josh Sutherland and I am working with Volleyball BC and we are proud to say that we have been providing funding in the form of gear, clinical opportunities and scholarships to underprivileged volleyball athletes in British Columbia. It is our mission to provide every child and teenager with the opportunities to develop their volleyball skills and if they desire, a scholarship to attend a post-secondary institution whilst playing volleyball. Every year we do a mini volleyball fundraising tournament held at numerous locations across our province to try to raise money and awareness for our athletes. Our organization is looking for donations in the form of scholarships, money to run clinics with coaches, and gear. Gear consists of volleyballs, nets, jerseys, proper footwear, and money to rent the space for training. It is our hope Mathieu, that Athletics Canada would be willing to provide our athletes with some support and funding to help them reach their goals as well as increase physical literacy amongst the younger population. I know that youre busy with a array of different things so I would like to thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing how Athletics Canada is willing to contribute to helping the underprivileged volleyball players in British Columbia. Sincerely,

Its that time again! Time to dust off the old court shoes and come bring your A game! Come out and support your local athletes and get to play against them! This is a great opportunity to connect with your athletes and help provide funding and support to allow them to excel in volleyball. Also, its a great chance to bond with friends and family over some semi-competitive volleyball! Tons of prices to be won as well as raffle draws. There will be an excellent BBQ afterwards by donation as well. I event location, dates, and registration are specific to each area. Please see your respective location.
