Jubilee Congregations
Jewish Edition DRAFT
Hi Kristin,

Attached is the Jewish version of Jubilee Congregations with my edits. I dont know how closely you were lanning on reading through it as well, but I have a cou le of suggestions!

"ost of the facts about debt are from #$$% or #$$&, which is when Im guessing the acket was first drafted. 'ou all are robably in a better osition to u date those than me, but (ust wanted to mention it. )here are several laces in the acket when the reader is referred to another age or section, e*ce t there is no age number or even table of contents. I inserted age numbers in a few laces, but its something to be checked if the ages change. I would also recommend inserting a table of contents. )he section that was most troublesome to me was +)he Jubilee ,ound in -ur )e*ts and )aught .y -ur )eachers/ 0 age &$!&#1. )heres a note in track changes at the beginning of the section, but it was a bit confusing in terms of both structure and te*t 2 there were a bunch of short te*t references, all with citations, and then a longer section that might have been meant to be read all together, but without citations or references. -verall, I tried to find as many citations as ossible throughout the acket, but its again something to look at before ublication. An +Introduction to the 3ebt Crisis/ is referenced twice 0 age 45 and #&1 but there is no section in the acket with that title. I think if its a se arate acket or brochure, it would be hel ful to know that. )here are notes throughout when I had 6uestions, comments, suggestions, etc. on certain smaller oints within the document 2 (ust something to be aware of.

I think thats about it 2 I ho e this hel s. 7lease let me know if you have any 6uestions about what I did 0many of my changes were things like making sure all of the formatting stayed consistent, s elling out +8od/ 2 we decided it would be fine for both 9eform and Conservative synagogues 2 and changing references from Church language to synagogue1 or if I can be of hel in any other way. )hanks: Allison 8. 8rossman ;egislative Assistant 9eligious Action Center of 9eform Judaism #$#< "assachusetts Avenue, => >ashington, 3C #$$%? #$#.%@<.#@$$ 0 1 #$#.??<.A$<$ 0f1 www.rac.org
