General Information
HPFMD Client Application component of solution designed to run

on the mobile device used by a physician, specifically the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
HPF Mobile Server The licensed server software which is the

intermediary component that communicates with both the client application as well as the existing HPF installation.
HPF Mobile Deficiency Completion Module The licensed software

component that runs on the HPF Mobile Server for the express purpose of providing access to the mobile devices running the HPFMD Client Application

Compatible with any HPF system with version 13.5.2 or newer Can be installed on a VM in a VM farm (preferred) or on existing

stand-alone hardware
Requires an operating environment running Windows Server 2008 R2 Requires at least 4 CPU cores and at least 4 GB RAM (exact need

may vary depending on concurrent load and image usage)


Hardware may be purchased from McKesson or customer may

provide their own

HTTPS certificate is required for client app to successfully connect to

the server components

External networking devices may allow for deployment of HPF Mobile

Server in existing HPF VM farm

technical resources available and wishes to proceed as quickly as prudently possible


Tasks may include network deployment, environment installation,

configuration to talk to HPF, configuration of HTTPS and troubleshooting of network connectivity issues
If a customer does not wish to take on the work themselves, HPF

Services can be utilized to perform the work
