Geologist's Daily Progress Report: Status of Excavation

1) A geologist completed probe drilling for borehole 5 to a depth of 50 meters between October 1st and 4:15pm. 2) Drilling parameters included a drill bit diameter of 51mm and rotation pressure of 100 bars. Sediment extracted was medium to fine grained and reddish grey to greyish in color with no water. 3) The rock type drilled was identified as phyllitic quartzite based on medium to fine grains and reddish grey flaky chips. Drilling was successful to a depth of 50.4 meters over 21 sections taking around 7 hours.
