Introduction To Embedded Systems. Introduction To Microcontrollers. The Arduino Platform / Software Installation. Arduino Board Overview

This 3-day training course covers embedded systems design using Arduino. Day 1 includes introductions to embedded systems and microcontrollers, as well as basics of the Arduino software and programming. Trainees will learn digital and analog I/O, timing, math functions, and will complete exercises blinking an LED and using buttons and LEDs. Day 2 covers interfacing sensors like temperature, ultrasonic, and LCD displays. Communication techniques like I2C and Bluetooth are demonstrated. Day 3 involves radio frequency identification (RFID) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) modules for sending/receiving SMS/calls. Trainees will work on projects on the final day.
