    1. Figure out the reason and how long the delay might last. 2. Refocus on related skills—like soft skills, systems training, or company knowledge. 3. Revise your learning plan, don’t scrap it—adjust deadlines and goals. 4. Cross-train in other areas or shadow a teammate. 5. Stay consistent with personal development—reading, courses, or certifications. 6. Use the pause to reset and return with fresh perspective.

Unexpected training delays are opportunities in disguise. I utilize the time to reassess objectives, enhance content alignment with current priorities, and engage with participants for deeper context. Rather than seeing it as a setback, I treat it as a chance to increase relevance and impact. Adaptability is key.

It depends on the type of delay, and how long it will take to fix. But overall don’t take yourself too seriously. Things happen it’s a okay and since Covid people are more forgiving. Get to know people, and wing it until it’s fixed or reschedule. All is forgiving. Could be annoying but forgiving as it’s not your fault and everyone will know that.

Communicate with the participants Inform them promptly: As soon as you become aware of the delay, let the participants know. Be transparent about the situation and provide as much information as you have, such as the expected duration of the delay and the reason for it, if known. Answer questions and address concerns: Give the participants an opportunity to ask questions and address their concerns. Listen attentively and provide reassurance that you will do your best to minimize the impact of the delay. What do you think ?
