PAX East felt like a warning: explosively successful games by solo devs and small teams are great, but it could lead to a dearth of vital specialists.
Newsbrief: Sega announced today that it has signed a deal with Index Holdings subsidiary Atlus, that will see Sega distributing the company's games in Japan in the near future. Atlus, best known for its Persona series and the recent, critically acclaimed Catherine, is looking to expands its sales via Sega's domestic distribution network. The deal is due to take effect from April 2012 onwards.
