MELBOURNE, Australia, August 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Revelation Software Concepts Pty Ltd (RSC), an SAP(R) software partner,
today announced it would partner with IntelliCorp(R), a worldwide provider of
ALM, business process management and data management solutions for SAP
customers and partners, to create an integration between RSC's powerful
Rev-Trac(R) change control solution and IntelliCorp's LiveCompare(TM)
intelligent impact analysis solution for SAP software-based systems. The
resulting integration will allow SAP software customers to reduce their
system ALM costs, risks and resources by incorporating combined
market-leading, comprehensive change control and impact analysis into their
IT practices.
IntelliCorp's ALM and impact analysis solutions are used by 35% of
Fortune 500 that run SAP, while RSC's Rev-Trac solution is the market-leading
third-party SAP change control add-on. Both products are certified by SAP as
integrated SAP software add-ons and both support the Enhanced Change and
Transport System (CTS+) of the SAP NetWeaver(R) Application Server (SAP
NetWeaver AS) in single or mixed-stack, single or multiple-landscape
environments.
"Combining Rev-Trac's powerful change control process automation and
enforcement with LiveCompare's intelligent impact analysis enables SAP
customers to further automate and improve ALM, while reducing SAP TCO and
maximizing SAP's value," said Christopher Trueman, CTO of IntelliCorp. "This
natural fit extends an SAP customer's ability to manage system changes, and
transitions, smoothly and safely, especially changes that involve complex
configurations of mixed Java, ABAP or mixed ABAP/Java-based, or other
non-ABAP components."
"It was clear that leveraging our product strengths would allow RSC and
IntelliCorp to deliver immediate and significant benefits to any large
organization," added David Drake, CEO and CTO of RSC. "In particular,
organizations dealing with issues involving mixed-stack, mutli-platform,
multiple landscape, or other complex business information configurations
running on SAP software-based systems will quickly realize significant
benefits including fewer disruptions and increased savings in time, money and
resources."
A key Rev-Trac benefit is its ability to track change transports against
their associated business issues. Integrating LiveCompare's intelligent
impact analysis functionality into the change process will reveal the
system-wide effects of changes intended to resolve business issues. IT teams
will be able to clarify and fully understand all impacts on affected modules
and transactions, so they can identify and eliminate risks of system
disruptions before importing a change into the production environment.
Both RSC Rev-Trac and IntelliCorp LiveCompare have won the maximum 5-Star
rating from SAP software users at SAP EcoHub
(http://www.sap.com/ecosystem/partners/index.epx), the SAP solution
marketplace where customers go to discover, evaluate and purchase partner
solutions. A 5-Star rating by in-the-field third-party customers reflects an
extremely high level of user satisfaction and solution reliability. SAP
EcoHub users are among the most technically experienced IT team members
anywhere.

IoT & Smart Cities Stories By Yeshim Deniz Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...
