Empowering the Enterprise to Take Full Advantage of Everything Azure
The cloud era has reached the stage where it is no longer a question of
whether a company should migrate, but when. Enterprises have embraced the
outsourcing of where their various applications are stored and who manages
them, saving significant investment along the way. Plus, the cloud has become
a defining competitive edge. Companies that fail to successfully adapt risk
failure.
The media, of course, continues to extol the virtues of the cloud, including
how easy it is to get there. Migrating to the cloud is a simple affair - just
call up a cloud provider and your wishes come true. The reality is quite
different, however, as enterprises struggle with a wide variety of migration
issues, from security to overtaxed IT teams and everything in-between.

The need for greater agility and scalability necessitated the digital
transformation in the form of following equation: monolithic to microservices
to serverless architecture (FaaS). To keep up with the cut-throat
competition, the organisations need to update their technology stack to make
software development their differentiating factor.
Thus microservices architecture emerged as a potential method to provide
development teams with greater flexibility and other advantages, such as the
ability to deliver applications at warp speed using infrastructure as a
service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) environments.
The emergence of microservice was to break the monolithic applications into
smaller services, with each one of them having their own business logic. With
a monolithic architecture, a single faulty service can bring down the entire
app server and all t... (more)

How Serverless Computing Changes Cloud, and Your Job
In a recent survey, Sumo Logic surveyed 1,500 customers who employ cloud
services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud
Platform (GCP). According to the survey, a quarter of the respondents have
already deployed Docker containers and nearly as many (23 percent) are
employing the AWS Lambda serverless computing framework.

It's clear: serverless is here to stay. The adoption does come with some
needed changes, within both application development and operations. That
means serverless is also changing the way we leverage public clouds.
Truth-be-told, many enterprise IT shops were so happy to get out of the
management of physical servers within a data center that many limitati... (more)

where most process are getting replaced with tools and systems to improve
efficiency and bring down operational costs. Automation is the next big thing
and low code platforms are fueling it in a significant way.
The Automation era is here. We are in the fast pace of replacing manual human
efforts with machines and processes. In the world of Information Technology
too, we are linking disparate systems, software and tools to make things
self-sustaining. This is called automation. It has been helping companies
overcome the hurdles of traditional methodologies and optimize operations. It
has helped many enterprises achieve greater levels of efficiency and quality.

The Lean Cloud: The Need for Multi-Cloud DevOps
All clouds are not equal. To succeed in a DevOps context, organizations
should plan to develop/deploy apps across a choice of on-premise and public
clouds simultaneously depending on the business needs. This is where the
concept of the Lean Cloud comes in - resting on the idea that you often need
to relocate your app modules over their life cycles for both innovation and
operational efficiency in the cloud.
