cloudBuy proveerá mercado electrónico al Gobierno del Estado de Australia

cloudBuy plc, el mercado de comercio electrónico en la nube, anunció hoy que se ha adjudicado un nuevo contrato con el Gobierno del Estado de Australia (el “Estado”) con el fin de proveer un mercado de compras electrónicas para los departamentos de tesorería y TI del Estado. Una vez implementado, el nuevo mercado electrónico consolidará los servicios compartidos actuales a través de una única plataforma en línea, lo que implicará ahorros financieros y por eficiencia. El mercado electrónico también se integrará a la plataforma empresarial SAP que actualmente tiene el Estado, lo que permitirá la sincronización de la facturación y los pedidos de compras.

En la primera etapa del proyecto, que en principio se ejecutará durante un período mínimo de seis meses, cloudBuy implementará su mercado electrónico con software como servicio (SaaS) de extremo a extremo para el Estado y será compatible con el proceso que se está implementando de 20 proveedores clave de tesorería e ICR para asegurar una migración sin inconvenientes.

Luego de los aranceles de instalación iniciales, los términos del contrato nuevo establecerán que cloudBuy recibirá ganancias permanentes a través de un cargo por transacción, calculado como un porcentaje del valor que se gasta dentro del mercado electrónico. En base al gasto de la tarjeta de compras actual del Estado, se estima que las ganancias serán de alrededor de AUD 900.000 en el primer año, elevándose a una suma potencial de AUD 7,2 millones anuales con el paso del tiempo.

“Los tradicionales aranceles anuales para la licencia se tornan cada vez menos frecuentes tanto con los proveedores como con los clientes de SaaS que desean modelos de pago más flexibles basados en el uso y las necesidades reales”, manifestó Ronald Duncan. “Nuestro nuevo modelo basado en las transacciones, desarrollado de manera conjunta con Visa, eliminará los costos anuales de licencia para los clientes, mientras que brinda a cloudBuy un vínculo mucho más cercano entre el uso de la plataforma y los ingresos generados”.
