The Road to a Cloud Adoption and Digital Transformation
In this strange new world where more and more power is drawn from business
technology, companies are effectively straddling two paths on the road to
innovation and transformation into digital enterprises.
The first path is the heritage trail - with "legacy" technology forming the
background. Here, extant technologies are transformed by core IT teams to
provide more API-driven approaches. Legacy systems can restrict companies
that are transitioning into digital enterprises. To truly become a leader in

The rise of the market for No-Code platforms and tools has given rise to a
burgeoning population of ‘citizen developers’ – non-technical business
personnel who can use these platforms to build an increasingly powerful set
of business applications without writing a line of code.

trade show producer and the creator of DXWorldEXPO® - Digital Transformation
Conference & Expo has announced today that it has acquired the Cloud Expo®
trademark and its associated brand names from CLOUD EXPO, INC., a Woodcliff
Lake, New Jersey-based company that will discontinue its operation.
DX World EXPO, LLC was founded by Fuat Kircaali on May 27, 2017. "Now is the
time for a truly global DX event, to bring together the leading minds from
the technology world in a conversation about Digital Transformation,"
said Kircaali in making the announcement.

Every year about this time, we gaze into crystal balls to divine the future
of our industry - or at least where it's headed over the next 365 days. The
result is often a triumph of incrementalism: we predict that we will get more
of what we already have. The truth is, technology isn't as revolutionary as
we often think - and commenting on incremental changes alone may not help us
understand what lies ahead.
Along with a few near-term predictions - so hard to resist - I'd also like to
make some predictions not just about technology per se, but about related
changes to organizations, processes, and the cultures around them. Here's my
main prediction: By 2030 what we've come to know as "IT" today will be

Platforms at Liberty Mutual and was a presenter at the 2016 All Day DevOps
conference. His talk, Organically DevOps: Building Quality and Security into
the Software Supply Chain at Liberty Mutual, looked at Liberty Mutual's
transformation to Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps.
For a large, heavily regulated industry, this task can not only be daunting,
but viewed by many as impossible.

Segmentation and Isolation on Kubernetes for Enterprise Teams
Enterprises are adopting Kubernetes to accelerate the development and the
delivery of cloud-native applications. However, sharing a Kubernetes cluster
between members of the same team can be challenging. And, sharing clusters
across multiple teams is even harder.
Kubernetes offers several constructs to help implement segmentation and
isolation. However, these primitives can be complex to understand and apply.
As a result, it's becoming common for enterprises to end up with several
clusters. This leads to a waste of cloud resources and increased operational
overhead.

CloudExpo | DXWorldEXPO have announced the conference tracks for Cloud Expo
2018, introducing DXWorldEXPO.
DXWordEXPO, colocated with Cloud Expo will be held June 5-7, 2018, at the
Javits Center in New York City, and November 6-8, 2018, at the Santa Clara
Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA.
Digital Transformation (DX) is a major focus with the introduction of DXWorld
Expo within the program. Successful transformation requires a laser focus on
