While some of you may have already looked into Continuous Performance Validation, we’d like to take this opportunity to discuss the concept in more detail and explain why it works for organizations using process and practices like agile, DevOps, continuous integration, continuous development, and automated testing.
These days I mostly make my living as a consultant. Consultants in general are probably not the best loved group in the world. Stress Testing: A testing process designed to push an application’s environment to its breaking point so that QA teams can gain an understanding of the upper limits of capacity within the system. Its purpose: Stress testing exposes issues that may not appear under normal or even expected conditions. It allows testers to determine the software’s robustness and ensure that the system fails and recovers in an acceptable manner.
