Partner of Lamborghini and title sponsor of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo since 2009; official timekeeper of the FIA GT1 world championship since 2010, who became the FIA GT1 Series in 2013. In 2011 Blancpain took on two important new commitments with the launch of the Blancpain Endurance Series and its participation as official partner in the ADAC GT Masters championship. Powerfully symbolising the brand’s active commitment, Marc A. Hayek, President and CEO of Blancpain, took part in all these championships.

Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo

Title Sponsor (2009-2015)

The alliance between Blancpain and the iconic luxury sports car maker Lamborghini celebrates the technical performances and exclusive aesthetics of two manufacturers at the peak of their art combining tradition and innovation. The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo is a dream come true for motorsports enthusiasts since 2009. In 2012, Lamborghini and Blancpain launched a series in Asia to run alongside the established European competition. In 2013, the series continued in the US. The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo provides an exclusive platform for Gentlemen drivers entering individually or in teams of two to compete at the wheel of the bespoke Lamborghini Super Trofeo race car. The gentlemen drivers are divided into two categories: amateurs and pro-amateurs. Each race weekend is organized with one qualifying race and two 50-minute official races. The finalists of the three championships will meet up in Sebring, USA for the world final of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo.

Blancpain GT Series

Official Timekeeper and title sponsor (2014-2015)

Built on the exceptional success of the Blancpain Endurance Series, the Blancpain GT Series has an exceptional pedigree. Bringing the Sprint races under the Blancpain banner was a logical step forward in order to enhance the promotion of GT racing in Europe. The 2014 Blancpain GT Series combines the ultra-successful format of the Blancpain Endurance Series with the two-race sprint format of the Sprint Series. Blancpain Endurance and Blancpain Sprint will keep their separate classifications and award separate titles, but they will also be joined together through Blancpain GT Series titles for teams and drivers, for those in a position to compete in both.

Avon Tyres British GT Championship

Official Partner (2013-2015)

The Avon Tyres British GT Championship is fast becoming one of the best-loved and most illustrious sports car championships in the UK. Blancpain is associating itself with the series as official partner of the Avon Tyres British GT Champion and as naming partner of the “Gentleman’s Trophy Classification” for the first time in 2013, thereby earning itself a strong presence in the field of English GT racing. Featuring a mix of professional and amateur drivers, this championship offers various race formats on the various weekends, with two 60-minute races and one 120 or 180-minute race.
