Nerds is described by the New York Musical Theatre Festival, which will present 6 performances in September, as "an outrageous epic take on the parallel stories of computer pioneers Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, two technological geniuses, as they blaze a path from 'garage inventors' to warring titans of the computer revolution!"
There is no word yet as to whether either the real Mr Gates or the real Mr Jobs are due to attend the opening night, which will be on September 20.
Subsequent performances run Sept. 24, 25, 28 and 29, and Oct. 1. (Tickets are just $15) Additional info available at http://nerdsthemusical.com.
