Originally released on January 9, 2007, the Apple TV is a set-top box that uses the iOS operating system. The current model was made available on March 7, 2012, and utilizes an impressively small form factor at 3.9-inches wide and deep, and just .91-inches tall.
When connected to a television set, Apple TV allows users access to services like iTunes, Netflix, YouTube, and NBA TV and MLB.tv. In addition to the ability to view and listen to music and videos purchased through iTunes, the Apple TV also allows you to wirelessly stream content from a computer that also uses iTunes or any iOS device.
