Oracle Recognizes Syntax for Expertise in Providing Solutions for Oracle's JD Edwards, Oracle Accelerate for Midsize Companies and Wholesale Distribution
TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Two years ago, Syntax embarked on the path to becoming Specialized, as Oracle PartnerNetwork created a program to help expand its offerings to strategic partners, and provide a guide for customers to identify which partners are able to deliver certain areas of expertise in Oracle products and solutions. Syntax identified this as a significant opportunity, and by March of 2011, it had achieved Platinum Partner status by attaining five Specializations.
To achieve OPN Specialized status, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customer and partner community. By achieving a Specialized distinction, Syntax has been recognized by Oracle for its expertise in delivering services specifically around Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Oracle Accelerate for Midsize Companies and the Wholesale Distribution industry through competency development, business results and proven success.
Syntax has found that by increasing the strength of its organization through certification and working closely with Oracle to achieve and maintain Specialization, that both Syntax and its customers have benefited. The Oracle PartnerNetwork Specialized Program is a trusted status and brand, which allows customers to identify committed Oracle partners, like Syntax, whose skills and success have differentiated them in the marketplace.
"OPN Specialized is a valued designation," commented Gary Shaffran, Senior Vice President of Syntax. "It demonstrates that Syntax has made the investments in solution expertise that customers seek in order to mitigate project risk. For Syntax, this investment has been in Oracle's JD Edwards. We look forward to achieving additional OPN Specializations in the future."
"We congratulate Syntax for achieving these Specializations," said Tyler Prince, group vice president, North America Alliance Sales, Applications, Oracle. "Through the Specialization process, Syntax has demonstrated solid experience, expertise and success with planning, deploying and managing these Oracle products with our mutual customers."
