Nastel Technologies Announces Fall ‘Tech Talk’ Series

Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of middleware-centric application performance monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to the cloud, today announced the upcoming Tech Talk sessions, with the first live webinar titled “Java Memory Leaks II - Detection to Diagnostics,” slated for October 31 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

This 30 minute follow-up session led by Albert Mavashev, CTO at Nastel, will provide information on monitoring and diagnosing memory problems in production. Attendees to this session will learn how to detect resource leaks across multiple JVMs by using heuristics and how to remotely diagnose a JVM memory footprint. Upcoming Tech Talks include:

  • November 14, 2012: Painless Migration and Maintenance Strategies with WebSphere MQ 7.1 and 7.1 to 7.5 – Learn about the three important things to consider when migrating to 7.1/7.5 from WMQ 7.0, how to apply maintenance to one queue manager without applying to all queue managers and how to back out maintenance without having to restore the queue manager environment.
  • November 28, 2012: Java Garbage Collection CMS vs. G1 in Java 7 – Real world comparison – This Tech Talk session will cover the differences between CMS and G1, compare the performances of CMS and G1 collectors for server applications and analyze which collector performs better for high performance server applications.
  • December 12, 2012: Leveraging Your Mainframe into the 22nd Century – Learn more about how the mainframe plays a role in your enterprise management strategy, why existing mainframe based tools create a void in the information needed and how integrating mainframe and distributed data together can solve the mainframe gap.
