InterCall®, a subsidiary of West Corporation and the world's largest conferencing and collaboration services provider, today announced a new internal video content management solution called InterCall CorporateTube developed through a new partnership with Kaltura.
InterCall CorporateTube leverages Kaltura’s industry-leading open source video technology, making it easier for users to store, manage and distribute all of their rich-media content, including InterCall webcast and virtual environment products. New capabilities include:
- Central channel-based video portal, with full support for employee-generated content
- Seamless integration with the InterCall Webcast Studio and InterCall Virtual Environment platforms for instant archiving, eliminating the need to store that content separately from other enterprise video and rich media content
- One-click publishing from any video-capable applications
- Advanced video analytics and measurement/tracking to help organizations determine the effectiveness of their internal video strategies
- A single platform for storing and managing all video and rich media the organization produces, including education/training, corporate communications, employee engagement and knowledge sharing, regardless of application used
- Private enterprise social networking tools to collaborate securely across departments, geographies, content and business applications
“Cisco predicts that 90 percent of all Internet traffic will be video by 2014,” said Mike Nessler, Executive Vice President of Event Services at InterCall. “InterCall CorporateTube makes it much easier for organizations to build video sharing environments for training and knowledge sharing, as well as exchanging product information, tutorials, testimonials and other videos.”
For InterCall Webcast Studio users, the addition of CorporateTube will offer organizations far greater control over their webcast content, including who can see it and what messages are delivered.
“While the use of video on the Internet is still in the growth phase for many organizations, it won’t be long before it is the dominant method of information delivery,” said Ron Yekutiel, Chairman and CEO at Kaltura. “InterCall CorporateTube, which is powered by Kaltura’s video platform, is an important addition to InterCall’s robust product line and positions the company to become a leading provider of social enterprise technologies.”
