Music. You’re always ready to rock.

Play some music and create a mood. For a party or a date. Or play some music to match your mood. Like when it’s Friday after work. Or play that one song you just have to hear, here and now. Like at the gym. You can always shuffle songs to shake things up. And for a road trip, plane ride, or just for fun, ask Genius to mix it up.

Get your browsing on.

Play everything you love, everywhere you are. Tell Siri what you want to hear, and it just starts playing. Or browse around. Find music by song, artist, album, genre, or composer. Flip through your album art just as you flip through CDs. Then play a song. See the track list. Play it really loud (or not). Pause, shuffle, change the track with a tap, or ask Siri to do it for you.

What’s a room without music?

Fill your living room, kitchen, or bedroom with music from your iPhone. AirPlay lets you stream music wirelessly from your iPhone to any speaker connected to an AirPort Express. Just tap the AirPlay icon, select the speakers you want to use, and music from your iPhone fills the house. And if it’s in the iTunes library on your Mac or PC, you can listen to it on your iPhone with Home Sharing over Wi-Fi.

Genius mixes things up.

When you’re listening to a song you really love, tap Genius. The Genius feature finds other songs that go great with it and creates a playlist you’ll love even more. You can play it, save it, or give it another go. Genius playlists are, well, genius when you’re having a party, hanging out, or hitting the road. You’ll hear mixes you wouldn’t have thought of yourself and re-appreciate songs you forgot you had.

iTunes in the Cloud.

You can also browse your purchase history and choose specific songs or albums to download again at no additional cost.1 Sign up for iTunes Match and you can access all your other music from iCloud — including music you’ve imported from CDs. For just $24.99 a year.2
