Processors and System IP

Support for ARM Cortex and Classic Processors, Coresight, AMBA network interconnects, AMBA peripherals and memory controllers.

Development Tools

Support for ARM development tools, for example, compilation and debug tools, debug hardware, development boards and modeling tools, as well as use of the ARM architecture.

Physical IP

Support for ARM Physical IP including Logic IPEmbedded Memory IP and Interface IP.

Support for Mali graphics hardwaresoftware and Mali Video Engines.


Support for ARM Processors and System IP

If your company has licensed ARM IP such as ARM processor cores or peripherals and you require support on using this IP in your designs, then you should contact your company's internal ARM coordinator. They should be able to either provide you with the required information or pass your enquiry onto the contact given in your support and maintenance agreement with ARM.

Support for Development Tools

Most of ARM development tools include a one year support contract with your supplier operable from date of purchase (please check the end user license agreement provided with the product for more details).

Please consult our Documentation and Development Tools FAQs for advice on the use and application of ARM tools. Further assistance is available from your supplier. 

If you did not purchase tools directly from ARM, you should be able to find your supplier's contact details from our Development Tools Distributors page.

Note that ARM reserves the right to refuse to answer the following types of enquiries:

  • From users without a valid support and maintenance entitlement (a tools serial number may be requested).
  • From users who purchased tools from one of our distributors or Value Added Resellers (VARs).

License Management Support

If you require assistance with the installation or use of your license file for license managed tools such as RealView Development Suite (RVDS) or Fast Models, you should first consult our License Management FAQs and Installation FAQs. Further advice on license issues is available from [email protected]. Please ensure that you provide your serial number, license file and full details of the licensing issue you are encountering with all such enquiries.

Support for Evaluation Products

RVDS Evaluation CDs are supplied without entitlement for support.

Support for RealView Compilation Tools for BREW and BREW Builder

ARM can only provide assistance in the installation and license management of the RealView Compilation Tools (RVCT) for BREW. Although we provide a number of RVCT for BREW FAQs, we cannot provide support in the actual use of these tools. If you have questions regarding the use of these tools that is unanswered in the FAQs, we suggest searching the resources available on the Qualcomm BREW website or posting on the BREW Forums.

Support for Educational Establishments

Products purchased by educational establishments at special educational prices do not include any support entitlement, though separate educational support contracts are available. For more information, please see our University Program pages.
