Mobile Division of BIS Computer Solutions Announces Partnership with React Mobile to Develop Safety App for Handheld Devices

BIS Computer Solutions’ Mobile Division, Mobile BIS www.mobileBIS.com, one of the nation’s leading providers of mobile software and solutions, announced today that it has been selected by React Mobile (www.reactmobile.com) to develop a suite of safety enhancement applications. The first application, React – Standard Edition, is currently available through the iPhone App Store, Google Play and on Amazon.

The application, React – Standard Edition, is specifically designed for individuals in the workplace who may frequently encounter strangers while alone on the job. React – Standard Edition will enable users to contact a personal safety network with the press of a button. Ideal for real estate agents, the app is also great for anyone walking alone at night.

“With over 40 years of experience in the public safety sector developing police, jail, courts and 911 systems, Mobile BIS is well equipped to produce a top notch app that will protect victims of potential violence,” said Michael Macho, President of Mobile BIS. “We are excited to be developing this application for React Mobile. We feel that a safety application for the public will provide a sense of security and peace of mind for many individuals and their families.”

“We selected Mobile BIS based on their impressive portfolio of consumer mobile applications and their in-depth experience in the safety sector,” said Robb Monkman, Co-founder of React Mobile. “Our combined expertise will result in a product that will be used to enhance safety and could potentially save lives.”

Mobile BIS will build React - Standard Edition using Objective C for the Apple iPhone; and Java for the Android. The application is being developed using PHP and Ruby. The company has built more than 100 apps for mobile devices over the past nine years, most recently the popular LOOM iPhone app, which enables consumers to make beautiful photo-mosaics using their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram photos.
