Every day hundreds of new apps make their debut on the App Store, and hundreds more are updated or reduced in price. We have sifted through the noise and highlighted those select few that might be worth your attention.
Game Debuts
The Dictator: Wadiyan Games – (Free)
Paramount Digital Entertainment has released a tie-in game to promote the upcoming Sacha Baron Cohen film of the same name… and it's actually pretty decent? We're as surprised as you are.

Cannon Cat – (Free)
Cannon Cat is like an even-cuter version of Land-a-Panda, if that's possible. Imagine the barrel-shooting segments from Donkey Kong Country blown up into an entire game and you have a pretty good idea what to expect. The game is a free download, with optional In-App Purchases.

Rusty Orb – ($1.99)
Explore the hidden depths and collect gems in this 2D action/physics puzzler.

Price Drops
Samurai Bloodshow – ($0.99)
Sega's lengthy and stylish historical lane defense title is once again $0.99. If you've skipped it during previous sales, pick it up! It's an awesome deal.

Drawn: Dark Flight – ($1.99)
Big Fish Games' excellent dream-like iPad adventure game is available for just $1.99 – a significant discount from the game's normal $6.99 asking price. Drawn is a lot more than just a hidden object adventure – core gamers shouldn't ignore it.

Reckless Racing HD – ($0.99)
EA has dropped the price of this top-down iPad racer to just $0.99.

WrestleFest – ($0.99)
The iOS update of this classic wrestling brawler is now on sale for the first time since it launched in February.

Michael Jackson The Experience HD – ($1.99)
The iPad port of Ubisoft's unique MJ rhythm game is on sale for the first time. Note that the base download only includes three songs, however. The rest must be purchased for a disappointing $1.99 a piece.

Siege Hero – (Free)
Armor Games' first-person physics puzzler has once again gone free.

Raccoon Rising – (Free)
Raccoon Rising takes simple "arcade climbing" gameplay (think NinJump) and spices it up with a unique control scheme. Gamers can now check it out risk-free – the title has gone free for the first time!

Tilt World – (Free)
Gamers can now grab this tilt-controlled puzzler free-of-charge!

EA Sports Sale
EA is running a big sale on its iOS sports line-up. Gamers can save 50% (or more) on titles like FIFA Soccer 12, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 and NBA Jam, among several others. Seemingly all of the publisher's sports titles have received at least a modest discount, so if there is a specific title you had your eye on now would be a great time to jump in.
