Welcome back to another explosive edition of Nintendo Voice Chat, IGN's very own Nintendo-centric podcast. This week we've got myself, Audrey "Super Saiyan" Drake, Sam "Time Machine" Claiborn, Brian "DJ Brap Brap" Altano, Jack "Where the Pikachu have YOU been?!" DeVries, and Marty "What up, 1Up?" Sliva. What a great crew!

Today we discuss one of the 3DS games people have been wondering most about - Kid Icarus Uprising. We've had the game in the office for a few days now, and Rich and I have been racing through the main adventure and kicking each other's butts in multiplayer mode.

So how is it? Did the game come together into a cohesive package? Is the multiplayer up to snuff? The only way to find out is to listen RIGHT NOW! We also discuss the question of how random is too random in multiplayer games like Mario Party, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and now Kid Icarus. Items vs. no items? Let's open up that old can of worms and see what happens, shall we?

And hey, while you're thinking of us, be sure to join our Nintendo Voice Chat Facebook page. Don't forget to give us a like while you're there! It costs you nothing, and every like we get makes Sam's mustache that much more powerful. Seriously. Why would we lie about something so silly?

One last thing - don't forget to send your comments, questions and so on to [email protected]. We love reading all of your e-mails, even if we can't answer them all on air. The crew routinely answers questions via e-mail as well - so get writing! You can also follow us all on MyIGN and Twitter and hit us up there (my info is below, and you can find links to the other NVC members' pages on their various articles).

Until next time, Koopalings - Game On!

P.S. This particular podcast is exactly 45 minutes long. Whoa!
