Back in early October, IGN's PlayStation Team got their hands on eight Vita games in one day. We were so overwhelmed by the experience that we decided to go ahead and rank them from the one we were least excited about all the way up to the one we were most excited about. The method in which we did so was simple. IGN PlayStation is made up of three editors -- Greg Miller, Colin Moriarty and Ryan Clements -- and the overall rankings were an average of how each individual editor ranked each game.

The article was a rousing success and began a great conversation with our readers. And since we were able to play six more PlayStation Vita games, we thought we'd rank this half-dozen games just like we did the last batch. It's time to find out how IGN's PlayStation Team feels about Escape Plan, Ruin, WipeOut 2048, Hustle Kings, Sound Shapes and ModNation Racers: Road Trip.

So let's get into it.

What We Thought

Personal Rank: 5

I had a pool table growing up. It quickly became a mail holder. I wanted to be good, but lack of skills made that difficult. Playing Hustle Kings made me feel good -- although, to be fair, I was playing on easy. Being able to line up shots and see where they'll go then just becomes a matter of pushing my stick at the right speed. Yes, it's a baby way to play, but I was enjoying it.

Oh man, let me tell you about Hustle Kings. I could speak volumes about Hustle Kings, I really could. I could tell you so many things about its visuals, and the way it looks on the Vita's screen. I could muse for hours about the gameplay, or the various unlockables contained within. I might even daydream of all the pool-based action and the way it uses the touchscreens to maximum effect. Yes, I could tell you a thing or two about Hustle Kings. (I didn't actually play it due to time constraints. Sorry Hustle Kings!)

Personal Rank: 6

If you're a fan of Hustle Kings on the PlayStation Network, then you'll be plenty familiar with Hustle Kings on the PlayStation Vita, since it's essentially the same game. Billiard games are for billiard fans, and I must admit that I'm only occasionally a fan when I'm half-drunk in a San Francisco bar. Still, this is a game that can be played in bursts, which makes it a perfect fit on Vita. I'm just not stoked about it, especially considering all of the other amazing-looking games that are cooking right now.
