Not many games get as much scrutiny before release than Diablo 3. Well, the latest volley of criticisms comes in the form of the hardcore difficulty (Inferno) and the logic behind the allocation of rune points. As ShackNews picked up from the Diablo Fans forum, Blizzard Community Manager "Bashiok" took the time to respond to the original poster's complaints. Here's an excerpt regarding the "Inferno" difficulty setting:
"You're going to die, a lot, and you're going to have a horrible character for quite a while. You're not going to hit 60 and finish the game on Inferno. You're going to be smashing your face against Act 1 Inferno for weeks. Perfecting your build before then will not matter."There are a handful of other topics covered on the original thread, as well as the justification for some of the 'rune point' allocations for Diablo 3. Have you had a chance to look over the original thread? Any topics you'd like to see Blizzard address about Diablo 3 before it's released next month? Sound off in the comments below.
