Super Bowl Teams Screen John Carter

There are always a few Hollywood threads mixed into the Super Bowl every year. Usually we get a look at some new movie trailers during commercials or a big-name star will make an appearance during the halftime show. And this year, the Mara family has a chance to score two major wins: While John Mara is looking to take home the Vince Lombardi trophy for his New York Giants on Sunday, his niece Rooney Mara is also up for an Oscar at the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

Not only that, but longtime Patriots fan and Pixar director Andrew Stanton will be screening his latest Disney film, John Carter, for both teams and their families prior to the big game. What this really tells us of course is that the film is officially in the can and ready for theater viewing.
