Starting February 6, Nintendo Zone will get a lot more interesting, thanks to a certain yellow, electric mouse. This Monday the service will begin offering playable demos and feature a dedicated Pokemon section with full-length episodes of the Pokemon animated television series. This section will also include information and videos about the newest Pokemon video games, the Trading Card Game and other Pokemon news.
All of this content will only be available when 3DS owners are wirelessly connected to a Nintendo Zone location. We've reached out to the Pokemon Company for clarification, but that would seem to mean if you want to watch Ash catch 'em all, you'll have to do so standing around Best Buy or another Nintendo Zone location.
Nintendo Zone is a service 3DS owners can only access from certain locations, including more than 29,000 locations at restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, airports and malls in North America. It includes trivia games featuring the latest 3DS software, exclusive coupons (available only at Best Buy) and a showcase of 3DS games that includes videos, screen shots and links to game websites.
