When this baby hits High C, you're gonna hear some serious s***! Director Robert Zemeckis is said to be in early talks with co-writer Bob Gale and composer Alan Silvestri to explore the possibility of creating a musical adaptation of Back to the Future.

According to the story from Deadline, Zemeckis's ImageMovers studio would definitely be involved if the project goes into development. It is also likely that Silvestri, who is also known for his work on Forrest Gump and The Polar Express, would be contributing in some capacity to the original music.

After the recent release of the Back to the Future video game, a stage production might be a good follow-up to keep the franchise buzz alive. But what are your thoughts? Does "The Marty McFly Medley" have a nice ring to it or what?
