The Craziest Pokemon Game You've Ever Seen
Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition is real - and strange.

When we first heard about Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition, we honestly had a good, hearty laugh about it here at IGN, thinking it must be a joke or something. But indeed, this unusual DS crossover between the monster catching series and Tecmo Koei's strategy series, Nobunaga's Ambition, is the real deal.
Coming out on March 17 in Japan (no word yet on a North American release), a few new details have surfaced about this inexplicable mash-up. In addition to a Japanese trailer (which you can watch below), we also know that you can play as either a male or female, and that Eevee is your starter Pokemon. The game's world will apparently be split into 17 kingdoms, each home to a famous Nobunaga's Ambition general and their Pokemon companion.
You can take a look at some screenshots from the game at our Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition image gallery. Thanks to our friends over at Andriasang for the details on this Japanese release. We'll keep you posted on this title as more information becomes available.
