Founded in 2000, Beenox is a game development studio based in Quebec, Canada. The company specializes in creating games for videogame consoles and personal computers. In 2006, the studio was honored with the prestigious "Enterprise of the Year" award at the 23rd edition of the Fideides Awards, organized by the Quebec Business Council.

In 2005, Beenox became a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision. Originally, the studio was formed of two two divisions -- Beenox Score, devoted to the creation of original games either based on its own intellectual properties or on well-known licenses; and Beenox Shift, the porting division of Beenox Studios. With Activision's backing and support, the studio evolved into a single studio inside the Activision studio family and now works exclusively on developing new titles and franchises.
