Last May, Activision's flagship Call of Duty franchise experienced a huge blow, as their at-the-time-unrevealed 2011 entry to the franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, suffered one of the largest media leaks in the history of the industry. However, flash-forward to November, when Modern Warfare 3 released to one of the most successful entertainment launches ever. How did the publisher turn a PR nightmare into a raging success?
