About this Game

Vigilante 8: Second Offense Box Art
The sequel to the PlayStation car combat hit features even more insane auto combat action! Players will blast their way through 12 fully destructible battle arenas across the United States while uncovering hidden and bonus areas, cars, power-ups, and weapons. For a better look at the destruction, switch between behind-the-wheel, or behind-the-car views on-the-fly, plus multiplayer split-screen. (Note: These features are not unique to Vigilante 8: Second Offense.)

Vigilante 8 and vehicular destruction fans alike are sure to enjoy the 18 new, fully loaded '70s style vehicles, all of which can be modified with high-tech enhancements and power-ups that morph into place as you progress, allowing improved snow/ice/water driving and hovering for jumps. Returning for another off-road war on wheels are eight of the original Vigilante 8 wackos, including Slick Clyde and John Torque, plus ten new insane characters. Vigilante 8 features a great single player mode (Quest, Brawl and Desperado) along with a host of multiplayer options. In addition, there are exclusive three- and four-player modes for the Sega Dreamcast console for even more carnage.
