My CollectionJanuary 17, 2012 by

So here is my video game collection. Some of the games I inherited. Some games are missing. This does not include my Wii virtual console or Steam games.  Also please excuse the poor quality, the pics are from my cell phone....and the dirty carpet....I vacuumed after. =)  I tried to put them in some kind of order, so if it seems that they are out of order, its because after i took pictures and was sorting, i uncovered others. LOL! Without further ado:

Missing from pics: Super Mario RPG, WWF Royal Rumble, Inindo: Way of the Ninja, Barkley shut up and jam, Captain America and the Avengers, The Death and return of Superman. Known location...that unreachable spot behind the entertainment center that can't be gotten to without moving around the whole living room.  LOL!

Missing from Pics: Bubble bobble,  MarioKart DS, New Super mario bros. The zelda games (spirit tracks and the other one....with the boat?  LOL! my daughter plays it more than me) Known location: With my daughter =)

Missing from Pics: My X-com games! UFO Defense and Terror from the Deep!, Serf City, Caesar 3, Civilization 4, Dark Legions, Master of Magic, Master of Orion and 3 other SSI games including one with Drizzt!. Known location:...not really. But I can only assume deep, deep in the caves of storage. At least I hope. =/

Missing from Pics: Sid Maiers Pirates, Madden 06, Tetris worlds (reverse side of Star Wars Clone Wars) and Jade Empire (on my wish list). Others known location: Remember that spot behind the entertainment center....yeah. There.

Well there you have it.  All that I could muster. Today they are piled high in my living room next to my recliner. All just in time for Winter-een-mas.

I think i may have to call in a day!  LOL!  maybe a rainy day?  Rain is on the horizon!  Aww snap!  I'm gettin all excited!!!  Anyways, Appreciate the comments, questions, suggestions below and the time to read.

My "Rotation"January 13, 2012 by

I don't know about you guys, but I have a "Rotation" of games I play. I rotate so I don't get burned out playing them. Either by too much CoD or too much Madden, or too much Skyrim or even too much Zelda.  Currently my rotation is Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, Skyrim, Skyward sword and Monopoly streets (my daily fixes). and every now and then (every few weeks) i throw in some Borderlands, Halo CE Anniversary, Peggle, Castle Crashers and Ghostbusters. This leads me to believe why I have so many unfinished games and adds to my backlog.  I read a lot of blogs here about how people finish games, like Skyrim, Skyward sword, Uncharted 3, Portal 2. I  finish games quick too, but that's usually shooters who have short campaigns. Something like 5-6 hours. Does anyone have a rotation like me?  maybe not as frequent...I'd like to know.  Let me know.

Winter-een-mas is coming...December 29, 2011 by

Yes....winter-een-mas is coming.  And some of you are probably asking what is Winter-een-mas?  I'm not a master of blogging so I'll get straight to the point.  The last week in January is Winter-een-mas.  A weeklong celebration of gaming for gamers, by gamers.  There are no specific rules/expectations other than play games all week. I break it down by day, for example Monday will be sports day, Tuesday First Person Shooter day, Wednesday RPG day.....you get the point right?  So remember, Winter-een-mas is coming.

100+ Followers then Q and ANovember 15, 2011 by

First I want to thank everyone who has followed me up to this point. I've been here a year and am active as far as logging in and reading posts. If time permits I will post a comment, but I am at work most of the time and after 8 hours in front of this computer (shhh) I just don't feel like being on my computer at home.  Especially with Skyrim 3 feet away calling me.  =D Again thanks for following, I know I don't put out pounds of blogs (hell, i don't even have a header, but if someone wants to fix that for me I'm down) or hold lengthy conversations on walls but I appreciate the follows and interaction. A few shout outs in no particular order:

Chilidogg - Chili is awesome, he put together (and is running quite well) an NFL pickem pool/league (or whatever you want to call it) and I participate. Chili, I think i drank too much kool-aid this weekend. I had a bad weekend when it comes to the picks. He also put in a good word for me in one of his blogs. Thanks again for the vote of confidence. If your not following him, check him it out. I think he is worth it.

JoseOmatic - Jose is half credited with making me post more often. He was the first person to post on my first blog, (Check it out if you want. It's short and has pictures!) which got me thinking "Hey...there are some people interested in what I have to say here". Thanks Jose!

Taking a break for lunch. Going to co-workers office to catch up on The Walking Dead, commercial FREE!  YEAH! (said like lil john)

fliadaloisio -  You Nintendo fanboy you.  LOL! Just kidding. The first person here I connected with. Reading his posts I agreed, It's not about graphics, its about fun factor!

missSydneyP - Bunny (as most of us call her) gets the other half credit for having me post more often.  And all it took was a simple  "Don't be a stranger" line.  Thanks Bunny.

Teccy1, xGenokx - your posts don't show up in my newsfeed anymore and I have no idea why.  Nevertheless, still thanks for having me tag along for the year.

MrGhost56 - Ghost...your the opposite. Your posts keep my newsfeed moving like Whitewater rafting rapids.  How do you do it?

Crabby_Bastard - Crabby, thanks for taking me over the century mark. Also you should know, every time i see your name in a post I think of Mr. Crabs.

If I didn't mention don't feel bad. I'll share home baked cookies that Ghost doesn't need to steal.  And now for the fun part.  The Q and A. Go ahead and ask questions until Sunday, I will compile a new blog with the answers and post it Monday.
