What the eShop needsJanuary 12, 2012 by

The Nintendo eShop as I hear is getting better and better with games as Pushmo, Mighty Switch Force and more. But sometimes that isn't enough. Nintendo needs to bring more games to the eShop. If Nintendo released the developing tools for downloadable games for the Nintendo 3DS I am sure some indie developers would look into it. They want their games to be more recognized and the 3DS can really help them out because it sold a lot of units. They could even create some games for not so known Nintendo characters such as Waluigi and Toad. There are games like these to download for free of the internet but wouldn't you rather play them on the 3DS? But ofcourse they would need to do these kinds of games for free since those characters are under Nintendo's license. One really great game like this is a free indie game you can play on your PC. It's Psycho Waluigi.

And by the same creator there is Toad Strikes Back:

There a lot of Pokemon hacks. Those feature a lot of unique ( and even better looking than the 5th genereation ones ) Pokemon, whole new storylines and new regions. They hack GBA games and we all know that the 3DS now supports GBA software so they can put those games on the eShop to be downloaded right now.

I've shown you a sequel to Super Mario 64.

A lot of fans will help Nintendo. And who knows. They can maybe create iconic Nintendo characters.

The EnivisionJanuary 9, 2012 by

Imagine this. You want to play your Gamecube anywhere you want. On the streets, your local pub and even at your boring job. But where are you going to plug it in, where are your controllers and where is the TV? Well my Gamecube lovers, fear NO LONGER! Because The Enivision is here.

Now what is this wonderful Envision you ask?

The Envision is a handheld Gamecube.

It was made by a YouTube user Tchay777. He says that it took him roughly 7 months to make.

This portable Gamecube runs ENTIRELY off of batteries (wall power is an option though) and has NO disc drive. Instead it features the Wiikey Fusion which runs gamecube games off of an SD card. It can play ALL gamecube games perfectly except for Luigi's Mansion. This portable can also play SOME N64 games, the whole SNES and NES library, and probably some other older consoles. This portable also uses Progressive Scan via the official Component Cable for the Gamecube.

A fan made a sequel of Super Mario 64January 3, 2012 by

Believe it or not, YouTube user Skelus made a game called Super Mario Star Road with 30 new levels. But to run it you need to a emulation software. Judging by the comments the author plans to make a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The most pirated games of 2011.January 3, 2012 by

TorrentFreak published a list of the most pirated games on the PC, Xbox360 and Wii platmforms. The reason why they didn't include is becuase PS3 pirating is too small to even include those numbers.

Pirating is always being blamed for ruining the gaming industry. It is true according to these numbers posted by TorrentFreak. Games are mostly sold on the Xbox 360 platform but even on the Xbox 360 pirating exists. The PC platform is still in the lead of pirating games.

This is probably the reason why developers usually bring crappy ports to the PC. Because most are going to pirate.

Now let's take a look at the numbers for the PC, Xbox 360 and Wii consoles:

The most pirated games for the PC platform:

1. Crysis 2 ( 3.920.000 )

2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ( 3.650.000 )

3. Battlefield 3 ( 3.510.000 )

4. FIFA 12 ( 3.390.000 )

5. Portal 2 ( 3.240.000 )

The most pirated games for the Wii platform:

1. Super Mario Galaxy 2 ( 1.280.000 )

2. Mario Sports Mix ( 1.090.000 )

3. Xenoblade Chronicles ( 950.000 )

4. Leg0 Pirates of the Caribbean ( 870.000 )

5. FIFA 12 ( 860.000 )

The most pirated games for the Xbox 360 platform:

1. Gears of War 3 ( 890.000 )

2. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ( 830.000 )

3. Battlefield 3 ( 760.000 )

4. Forza Motorsport 4 ( 720.000 )

5. Kinect Sports: Season Two ( 690.000 )

( NOTE: These numbers are just from one torrent site so that means the numbers are way bigger. )

Analysing the sales and illegal dowload numbers of Crysis 2 are frightening. Crysis 2 sold 491.000 copies on the PC platform and it has been downloaded almost 4 million times.
