Lone Ranger Shoots for Next Month
Disney's production to begin in New Mexico.

It was announced today that Gore Verbinski's upcoming adaptation of The Lone Ranger will begin principle photography in New Mexico next month.
Governor Susana Martinez and the New Mexico Film Office released the statement which says Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films plan to start shooting in February. Production will then continue through August.
"We couldn't be happier to bring The Lone Ranger production to New Mexico," said producer Jerry Bruckheimer. "The state's world-class crews, local talent and spectacular locations will be critical in helping us take this iconic story and legendary characters to new heights."
According to On Location Vacations, state and local officials have been working to bring the film to New Mexico for over a year. The Lone Ranger is currently aiming for a May 2013 release.
