Paranormal Activity 3 Shocks Blu-ray and DVD

Paranormal Activity blew through theaters across the world when it was launched just a few years ago, and just like any horror franchise to make a buck, sequels aplenty have invaded the box office ever since. Hoping to flesh out the chilling backstory from the inception of the saga, Paranormal Activity 3 managed to captivate fans of the films and now turns to the home video landscape to keep you warm over the winter.

Paramount Home Entertainment will be behind the DVD and Blu-ray combo pack releases of Paranormal Activity 3, coming home on January 24, 2012 for the MSRP of $39.99 for the Blu-ray edition and $19.99 for the DVD-only release. They will contain both the theatrical and unreleased cuts of the film, giving you a comparison to make when choosing your personal favorite version of the spooky tale.

The film expands on the premise of the series, as the cameras are on and recording the chilling moments when evil begins to terrorize young sisters Katie and Kristie for the first time. See how it all transpired way back when, and perhaps a glimpse into why it's continuing. Included in the releases will be the Lost Tapes, which reveal more footage not seen in the film.
