New Avengers vs. X-Men Teasers

Marvel isn't letting up on the new insights into their 2012 event series, Avengers vs. X-Men. After revealing the first and only stand-alone tie-in series Avengers vs. X-Men: Versus and that the Avengers titles will be have tie-in tales, the publisher has launched a new teaser campaign showcasing some marquee battles.

Whether the series will amount to more than superheroes throwing down with one another remains to be seen, but expect to see of more of these teases throughout the week.

First up, Iron Man vs. Magneto and Psylocke vs. Black Widow. Because, you know, the girls have to fight each other. It's like a rule or something.

Update 1/10: Kudos to Marvel for breaking the "girl vs. girl" rule of fighting with this one. In today's new teaser images, we get to see Spider-Man vs. Iceman and Thor vs. Storm. I guess that also answers the question of what side Storm would take in this conflict, eh?




Update 1/11: Continuing the epic teaser campaign for AvX, Marvel released three new images today, depicting Hulk vs. Emma Frost, Luke Cage vs. Beast, and Ms. Marvel vs. Rogue!





Update 1/12: In addition to the Daredevil vs. Archangel teaser we debuted last night, two more teasers hit the Internet today. The other two depict a brawl between The Thing and Colossus (or Cologgernaut, as we like to call him now) and Gambit battling Spider-Woman.
