Touch My Katamari: Here's Your Report, Reaperff7

Yesterday, IGN posted a thoughtful Uncharted: Golden Abyss piece about what the creators of the console Uncharteds (Naughty Dog) could learn from the creators of the Vita version (Bend Studio). Plenty of people sounded off in the comments, but it was the second post that caught my attention.

The Internet can be a crappy place. We tear each other apart because the anonymity of a username allows us to spout off without any consequences. Here, reaperff7 is being totally reasonable and telling me what he needs from IGN. So, I made this Touch My Katamari video preview for him or her.


I'm lucky enough to run the PlayStation coverage at IGN, and I want you to be a part of it, reader. On Podcast Beyond, we joke about it being "the conversational podcast" -- as in if something comes up naturally, we just go with it and don't worry about holding the topic for another segment. I like to think of IGN as a similar conversation.

I don't want to talk at you about games; I want you and I to talk about games together. My approach to articles and videos is still of the mindset that I'm in my old Illinois basement telling my friends about a game I was playing. I want to converse with you and I want to use the tools at my disposal to deliver IGN content you want. It's why I'm updating the IGN PlayStation Vita Wiki each day with answers to the questions you post.
